“I came to Hotel Morales with a party of 18 people, and the staff had absolutely no difficulty in handling a large group with less than usual requirements. The staff is only half a dozen or so people, but they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful that it felt like we were guests in someone’s home. Many of our group had health issues on the trip that royally messed with our plans, but the staff were as accommodating as they could to make our lives easy. The hotel owner went so far as to get up at 5:00am to drive part of our group to the airport HIMSELF. The people here alone make it the best hotel in Huaraz.”

“I stayed at Hotel Morales with my youth mountaineering group before and after our trek in the Cordillera Huayhuash. The staff was incredibly kind and always made us feel taken care of. The breakfasts were always served with fresh juice and fruit and the rooms were very nice and cleaned daily. More impressive was the level of commitment demonstrated by the owner of the hotel, Hisao, who drove not one but two of our group members to the local clinic while they weren’t feeling well. This type of above-and-beyond service made the hotel feel like home and a place I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and everyone.
“My husband and I spent a few days before a trek and one night after the trek at the Morales Guesthouse and we were struck by the outstanding customer service. Everyone was extremely attentive, responsive, making sure all was to our satisfaction all the time, from transfers to/from the Movil Tours bus station, to early check-in, to picnic lunches, to late check-out (our return bus to Lima left at 11:00pm and we were able to use our room until we left). Yovana is a wonderful person and her good English meant we never had any problems communicating. Our room, which was in the new building in the rear, was delightful: bright, clean, spacious and with an amazing view of the mountains. We could even see Huascarán in the distance. The provided breakfast was nutritious and filling. The fresh fruit salad was great!”
